Building on the work of our legacy agencies (Carizon Family and Community Services, KW Counselling Services, and Monica Place), we are committed to working together to support individuals, families and communities as they work to strengthen their wellbeing and mental health.

Services Offered to Our Community
Our services are offered on a sliding fee scale which means that no one is ever turned away because of an inability to pay for services. This would not be possible without our community of supporters.

Through our Children’s Counselling Services, we help families to overcome a wide range of children’s emotional, behavioural, school or relationship challenges.
Individual and Family Counselling
In a safe and supportive environment, we offer professional counselling/psychotherapy to individuals, couples/partners, families, and groups.
Walk-in and Quick Access Counselling
We offer confidential single-session counselling and therapeutic conversations in person, virtually or by phone.
Gender- Based Violence (GBV) - Family Violence Project
We partner with the Family Violence Project of Waterloo Region to raise awareness and deliver supports to anyone at risk and/or experiencing gender-based violence.

Our online and in-person groups and workshops bring people with common goals together to learn about different topics while strengthening their wellbeing and mental. All our groups are FREE and bus tickets are available on request.
We connect you to resources to navigate challenges, build connections and support your wellbeing.
We offer academic, social, financial, and one-on-one supports to youth living in priority communities through the Pathways to Education Program in Kitchener.
We support newcomers to Canada with outreach programs, group/individual counselling for refugees, and educational workshops to build community capacity.

Programs for pregnant and parenting youth and their children
We support the physical and emotional wellbeing of pregnant and parenting youth and their children by offering a variety of programs and responsive, individualized support.
Prenatal and early childhood programs to include CAPC and CPNP
We offer programs to support pregnant people, parents, and their children, connecting them with resources in their communities and develop skills.
We are here to partner with your family if your child is experiencing mental health, social, emotional, or behavioural concerns. We also offer community Respite services and home-based family support.
We offer supportive services for Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) and questioning kids, teens, adults, and their families in Waterloo Region.
