Counselling for Immigrants and Refugees
Whether you’ve been in Canada for a few months or many years, through our Newcomer Wellbeing Program, we provide counselling services to help support Immigrants and Refugees who are finding their way in Waterloo Region.
We provide supportive counselling, reassurance, and access to mental health resources in the community. Moving to a new country can be tough. Our supports can help you connect with community, increase your sense of belonging and feel at home.
Counselling for 2SLGBTQIA+ Individuals
Through our OK2BME program we offer confidential counselling in Waterloo Region for 2SLGBTQIA+ kids, teens, and adults. We also offer counselling to families and supporters, who can access counselling on their own or with their 2SLGBTQIA+ loved one.
Our professional counsellors, many with their own lived experience, have extensive experience in dealing with 2SLGBTQIA+ related issues, along with others such as anxiety, depression, and addictions; self-injury, abuse, and trauma; parent/guardian-teen relations and much more.
Whether you want support around things relating to your orientation or identity, or just want a space to talk in an affirming environment - we are here for you.
