Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP)

Our Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) aims to support pregnant people, as well as parents and caregivers of children from birth to 6 months, who are experiencing barriers to accessing services.

As part of CPNP, our Growing Healthy Two-gether and First Time Parents groups were created to strengthen the health of caregivers and infants, reduce the risk of low birth weights, and encourage and support breastfeeding. We provide:

  • Education on nutrition
  • Meal preparation tips
  • Practical infant care information
  • A welcoming space to connect with other pregnant people
  • Referrals to community resources, and more.
